The Chronicles of the NSP

Hello to all my Friendsters & Myspacers!  It has been a while since I’ve blogged properly so I figured it was high time to do it.  Just in case any of you don’t know, NSP is my initials & yes I am the everlasting hotness.  Well pretty much me, Madonna & whoever else I see fit worthy enough to be deemed the everlasting hotness haha.  Summer is fast approaching & I can’t wait.  But seriously, here in the city of NY when the temperature keeps continuing to rise & there seems to be no wind whatsoever…..you feel as if everything is the everlasting hotness.  But, I’m getting ahead of myself.  Let’s keep with Spring & keep rolling with what Mother Nature has been giving us.  I swear in the past yr the lady has been cracked out with all that has gone on with weather & such.  Tina, let her go!

But anyhoo, this past weekend was spent with all things weddings.  It was J’s bestie & we were having the reception in the apt.  It was done very last minute but I have to say it was quite beautiful.  It’d been a long time since I’d been to a wedding.  I’d say probably the 90’s when half of my friends got married when we got out of school.  I sang at a few of them.  It was nice.  This time my job was ‘The DJ’.  I loved having this bc as many of you know when you come to the apt you’re gonna get a light show from J & I’m gonna be determined to make you move.  Any of you that know me know I’m an avid music freak & the wall of sound is filled with cd’s & cassette singles(thats right folks).  I love about all kinds of music & I’m sure if you walk in & look you can find something you like.  So for this occassion plenty of disco, 80’s pop & a lil rock was played.  The fans were loving it.  I danced with the Bride’s 90 yr old grandmother & can I just tell you, she turned me out.  She walked in asking for a glass of scotch & later ended up dancing with plenty of the men there.  She also told me of how she will doing the walk for AIDS marathon in a few weeks.  My hat goes off to her & I can only hope to be as active when I’m half her age.  All in all, it was a beautiful ceremony & I was very pleased & honored to be apart of it.  The bride was absolutely stunning & her something borrrowed was my deoderant(Strong enough for a man named Nick but also made for a beautiful lady).  My toast to them is to live a long & happy married life together & may they always have laughter & love no matter what. ; )

In past blogs I have mentioned the Wikipedia & in this one I’m giving  a special shout out.  If not for this online encyclopedia some of my days temping would literally suck my ass.  Some places that I’ve been at have blocked Myspace & Friendster.  Gee, I can’t imagine why.  SO, wikipedia.com has been quite the site for me.  I haven’t read this much seriously since I was in high school.  The time when I would freak out if I didn’t make an A or B.  To most of you this is shocking.  But recently it’s been oh sooo exciting reading about certain things in history.  Greek mythology, wars that have gone on in the world, films of way back when & everything that you could want to know about Madonna & Mariah!  People, I’ve been all up on it.  They do slip up from time to time & offer slightly off information when it comes to what # a song actually made it to in the 90’s & for how long.  But hey!  I am like rain man when it comes to useless information on music & such.  But whatevs, its been cool to be able to do all this & still maintain my ability to get it get it on a dancefloor or chug a lug with the best of em at Open Bar.  Maybe I can be a smart but tv addicted club boy afterall.

Speaking of, last night on the OC, a character said ‘obvi’ twice & I almost peed my pants.  As we know this abbreviated form of a word has been in my vocab for a long ass time.  Hell, I give props to Rob for him saying it first.  Just a few months ago on Will & Grace, Jack introduced Will as his ‘besite’ & I was l-i-v-i-d.  Where’s my royalties bitches?  But whatevs, at least I know I said it way b4 anyone else did.  As long as we’re talking about it, if you hear ‘give it to the fans’ or ‘get on it like you’ve got lube on it’ or ‘totes’ then you know that me or one of my crew said it first haha.  So with that I leave you all & hope that you have a good weekend.  Give me testimonials or comments every 5 minutes…..der!

Sincerely,

the everlasting hotness

p.s.

Vadim wants me to point out that it was in fact him & his wonderful online knowledge that got us all tickets to the Madonna show in July.  Before the actual date that they were supose to go on sale.  Vadim, if not for you I don’t know what I’d do.  Ya see?  Ur still kind of the star of the blog bc I saved the best for last.  You are dubbed the everlasting hotness…. well mostly bc I know ur building hasn’t turned on ur AC either & you sweat ever so much.
